HOW TO GET HERE

Planes

Rutland, VT Airport 25 minutes south

Cape Air flies an 8-seater into Rutland 3x per day from Boston, and can be booked direct or through Jet Blue or Delta (Jet Blue is in the same terminal and will transfer your luggage for you. There is also a Chase Sapphire lounge in the terminal that is a great place to be for a layover.) I personally love the small plane, but some people get thoroughly freaked out by it.

Burlington, VT Airport 1 hour 20 minutes north

Small airport being serviced by United, Delta, and American. Beautiful drive straight down Route 7.

Albany, NY Airport 1 hour 40 minutes west

I like this one because you can fly Southwest (2 free bags, no paid seating, great customer service), and there's a Target and a Trader Joe's close by.

Trains

Rutland, VT Amtrak Station 20 minutes south

1 train per day to and from Penn Station in NYC

Automobiles

Rental cars are available at all airports, and Enterprise is available in Rutland. I highly recommend them. Costco remains the best deal for renting cars. Turo may be available at the time of your booking.

NYC 4.5 hours

Montreal 3 hours
